Five Steps to a  Long Lasting Natural Henna Tattoo

  • Allow the henna paste remain on the skin for 3-8 hrs. The longer the henna stays on the skin, the darker the stain, and the longer the design will last.
  • Stay warm. Heat and moisture help deepen the stain.
  • Brush or scrape henna off. Remove small buts with lemon juice or olive oil.
  • Avoid washing henna with water or soap immediately afterwards.
  • Apply natural lotion or olive oil to lengthen the life of the design.

The thicker skin on the hands and feet produce the darkest stain.
Henna lasts 1-3 weeks, and fades as skin naturally exfoliates.
Henna tattoo color varies from deep burnt orange to a reddish brown.
The stain oxidizes within 24-48 hours.
